Hawkeye Community College is regionally accredited by the Higher Learning Commission which conducts comprehensive accreditation reviews every 10 years. The College completed its most recent comprehensive review in 2016–2017 and received reaffirmation of accreditation through 2026–2027. The College will complete its next comprehensive review in October of 2026.
