Our goal is to make it financially possible for all qualified students to attend Hawkeye. Financial aid programs are available to assist you in meeting the difference between potential resources and college expenses.

We are here to help you understand your financial aid, budget your resources, and loan management. Most of your questions can be answered without an appointment by giving us a call, sending an email or text. If you feel you may need more specific assistance, such as completing the FAFSA application, completing verification documents or have a special/unusual circumstance, you can schedule an appointment with our office.

Your Success Is Our Focus

We are here to help you succeed here at Hawkeye Community College and work very closely with the Academic/College Success Advisors to provide wrap-around services to all of our students. From crisis intervention, assisting access to emergency funds, to referrals to internal and community services, we are here to help. Connect with your Academic/College Success Advisor.

2025–2026 FAFSA is Now Available

Students planning to enroll in Fall 2025, Spring 2026, and/or Summer 2026 will need to complete the 2025-2026 FAFSA in order for their financial aid eligibility to be determined. Completing the FAFSA early ensures consideration for as many financial aid awards as possible as some funds have limited availability or are available on a first come, first served basis. 2024-2025 FAFSA

The FAFSA application has received a significant update and is now available to complete. See Changes are Coming for the 2024-25 FAFSA for more information.
